recyclability and longevity are considered within all steps of CALIDA GROUP’s supply chain.

CALIDA GROUP concentrates on high innovative, sustainable, and comfortable products at fair prices, innovative materials and technologies, a stable and close to home markets supply chain as well as transparency and traceability along the value chain.

Sourcing and Procurement

CALIDA GROUP concentrates on an own-operated and local production strategy. Most fabrics are sourced and finished goods are produced within Europe. CALIDA GROUP concentrates on a small and stable supplier portfolio to keep supply chain distributions as low as possible and to guarantee that prices and order volumes are kept stable. 

Own-operated as well as non-own-operated production sites are screened and audited on a regular basis to reduce environmental and social risks and to ensure compliance with legal and governmental regulations.

Materials

CALIDA GROUP pays a lot of care and attention when selecting raw materials. For textile products CALIDA GROUP mainly uses natural fibers. When using synthetic fibers CALIDA GROUP concentrates on selecting and integrating recycled materials whenever possible. Natural and animal fibers are grown and harvested under the best possible conditions respecting animal welfare.
